hi. great site, hope i make some sense. i think we all remember the good old days of the north bank and clock end, particularly when it was standing. living in the midlands for most of my life never stopped me from attending every home game. i always stood in the same place and no matter how big the game was, i always got in. i had to stand and wait outside the north bank for at least an hour and a half at times, but it was worth it. the thing that attracted me to football was the great mass of people and the noise, sometimes so good that the game was almost secondery. you always stood and sang with the same people and were never affraid to start a song because we all joined in. an arsenal fan always looked after his own. many a time i have been to semi finals and finals with no ticket, and have never failed to get a ticket on the day from a fellow gooner at face value. we are all family, thats how i like to think of you all. i now have a season ticket at the emirates, in block c, the so called singing section. i am sad to see things like little red flags { man utd cl semi final} given out to fans to create some atmosphere. it wont work! real fans, life long fans, people who feel arsenal in their every thought, have been priced out. there seems to be no real passion, to have passion you need anger, hatred, us against them. man city away was a good start. i dont mean throwing missiles at player, i mean the hatred in the faces of the arsenal fans, the passion and togetherness. you cant create an atmosphere, you cant make people sing, but you can put people together who want to sing and the only way for that to happen is to bring back standing areas. take all the seats out from behind the home end, charge twice as many people half the price, about £490.00 then everyones a winner. standing was never unsafe, post the taylor report. do this and then my friends, bingo we have an atmosphere.

I have XP on my laptop. Hibernate is enabled with option enabled to Hibernate when I close lid. Is there any downside to using this routinely to power down or should I Shut Down or Restart periodically?

From your description of Shut Down it seems that "all" that happens is that Windows closes down everything (which I want up and running anyway when I start) without any other maintenance tasks which may be essential for "good health". Correct?

Why King Tutankhamun ? Well when I was a small lad living in London I went to the British Museum with my school to see the 1972 King Tutankhamun exhibition, and from that day on I was hooked, how could all those treasure stay hidden for so long? So I have made up this page to try and show some of the great treasure Carter found back in 1922
